Karolina Wlazlo-Malinowska
A lighting designer, animator of cultural events and landscape architect. Doctorate candidate  at Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Poland. She runs a research on the subject of light’s role in shaping and perception of the city’s nightscape. In 2010 she created “The Art of Light – Space Enlightenment” teaching section with its goal aiming at broadening of the landscape architecture students’ knowledge of lighting design and getting them involved in creating lighting projects and installations.

Karolina Wlazlo-Malinowska is a visual artist working on light installations, music videos and visual performances for music events. In her works she uses the medium of video-art displays and animations combined with sound effects. She creates the unusual night images of the city’s different spaces with her spatial works dedicated to the public space.
